At NSCP we pride ourselves in being a top quality, state licensed Christian preschool. We currently have classes for kids ages 15 months (and walking well) through Pre-K. We operate Monday through Thursday during the school year. Kids can attend Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday, or all four days. During the summer we operate Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We use research supported curriculum for all our classes. Our 2’s use High Reach Learning which is a unit based curriculum in which kids have opportunities to develop a wide range of skills such as language, social/emotional, and large/small muscle. They also have age appropriate experiences with math, science, and social studies, as well as art and music.
Our 3’s and Pre-K kids use Frog Street Press curriculum. This comprehensive, research based program is definitely designed with the child in mind. Kids in these classes will experience reading and math groups, learn writing techniques in a fun way, and focus on social skills to prepare them for the years ahead. For more information on Frog Street Press visit their website at www.fsp3.com.
As a Christian Preschool we teach our kids about the love of God and how He wants us to live with those around us. All of our classes incorporate Bible stories and Bible verses into their lessons each week. When you combine interactive curriculum with dynamic Bible stories and Miss Dee’s music classes, we know you will find a great preschool experience for your child.
At NSCP we believe that Play is an important part of early learning. Whether it is through dramatic play, free play center time, or time in our outdoor playground, all of our kids are given opportunities throughout the day to enjoy playing with their friends. We believe that play helps develop skills that can not be taught.
We are very proud of our teachers here at NSCP and feel that we have the best teachers around. They all have many years of experience in the preschool classroom and receive continuing education training every year. Most importantly they all love children and love helping them learn.
The safety of your children is very important to us here at NSCP. We strive to provide the safest possible environment for your little ones. One way we accomplish this is by having a security officer on campus during our entire school day.
